Nomad Comes Home

New owners and club members Marty and Debra bought their Jeanneau 409, Nomad, back to their Seward homeport. After spending seven years living overseas, they made the classic Alaskan journey from Anacortes, WA to Seward via the Inside Passage and across the Gulf Alaska. Marty thoughtfully provided a few photos of their trip to share with us. Their blog is available here. These photos remind us all of the the magic of northern latitude voyaging.

A landmark passed: Cape Caution to stern.

Canadian lighthouses are among the most beautiful in the world. Their red roofs and isolated settings make each a photo-worthy sight. This one is near Comox, BC.
