 The
William H. Seward Yacht Club (WHSYC) is located at the head of
Resurrection Bay in Seward on the south central coast of Alaska.
The Club facilities offer
access to the unspoiled Kenai Fjords National Park.
The Kenai Fjords National
Park holds some of the most fantastic cruising grounds in North America,
with numerous deep-water glacial cut fjords and isolated coves and bays.
Wildlife and scenery abound
on the rock bound coast.
The purposes
of the William H. Seward Yacht Club are:
- Encourage and advance the activity of saltwater
yachting;
- Promote Alaska as a cruising area for visiting
yachtsmen;
- Provide club, educational, social, cruising and racing
programs.
